Film Review

Cash Williams, LB ,Anna

Cash is a linebacker for the Anna Coyotes and is a leader on the defensive side of the ball. He is able to come up with big plays and stops. Williams can also utilize his lean, athletic build and speed in the running back position, a role he is familiar with and has dominated before. Whichever position Cash is in this season, he will contribute to the team’s success, just as he did last season when the Coyotes won the state title.

Peyton Ewing, RB, Abilene Cooper

Peyton is a shifty runner who can burst through holes along the offensive line and take the football into the end zone anytime he touches the ball. With the amount of hard work Peyton has put into the offseason, this multi-sport athlete, who also excels in track and on the gridiron, can light up scoreboards and will undoubtedly earn his way onto many recruiting boards this season.

Devon Wallace, RB, Grand Oaks

Devon is a quick and explosive runner, undoubtedly a top-tier recruit from FBS to FCS caliber. He is bound to make a strong impression this season with his electrifying plays and bursts of acceleration, whether it’s for long gains or touchdowns. Wallace’s versatility as a threat on offense, whether from the backfield or out wide, makes him a valuable prospect for college coaches scouting for running backs in the 2026 Texas High School football class. Devon is definitely among the best in his class.

Ziondre Williams, QB,Anna

William can easily be considered one of the top athletes on the field anytime he’s on it. He is one of the biggest playmakers for the Coyotes, capable of hurting defenses with his legs or arm. He has Division I talent with offers and will continue to earn interest in the 2024 football season.

Brock Schlef, OL, Plano

Schlef has a large frame, standing nearly 6-foot-4 and weighing 285 lbs, with potential to add even more mass at the next level. He is already one of the strongest on his team, boasting high maxes in both bench press and squats, as well as other lifts. Schlef’s strength is just one of his many attributes, along with his footwork in both pass protection and against the run. With a solid low base, he delivers a heavy-handed punch to defenders and has a bit of a mean streak, which we believe will make him even more impressive on the field than he was last season. Last season’s tape proves that Schlef is undoubtedly a next-level recruit who will transition well to the college level. With further development, he could potentially see playing time on any offensive line by his sophomore or junior seasons, if not sooner.

Cameron Melvin, LB, Lancaster

Melvin is a transfer from Lancaster to North Carolina Cleveland High School. He will be a versatile defensive lineman, able to play many different positions in the trenches or off the edge. He can even stand up to rush off the edge or drop back in coverage. Melvin boasts an athletic, lean physique for a defender, making him light and quick on his feet. Undoubtedly, he will be special this season.

These recruits have demonstrated exceptional skills and potential that make them valuable assets to college football programs. With their impressive film, strong academic performance, and physical attributes, they are well-prepared to excel at the collegiate level. Coaches can be confident in their ability to contribute to their teams and make a significant impact on the field.
